Extending a Song with Extend Click

When it comes to extending a song, the Extend Click feature offers a range of options to help you achieve your desired outcome. In this post, we'll explore how to extend a song using Extend Click, with a focus on removing extra lyrics and creating a longer, instrumental piece in the Jazz style.

Getting Started with Extend Click

To begin, navigate to the Extend Click feature and select one of the following options:

  • Add additional lyrics to the song
  • Extend the song from the beginning
  • Extend the song from the middle

For our example, we'll focus on extending the song from the beginning and middle, with the goal of creating a longer, instrumental piece.

Extending the Song

To extend the song, you can create additional lyrics using a tool like Chat CBT and paste them into the song. Be sure to specify the style you want to maintain, in this case, Jazz. You can then choose to extend the song from the beginning (2 minutes) or middle (1 minute).

If you're not satisfied with the second half of the song, you can create a new version by clicking Extend on the right-hand side and selecting Part Two (second version). This allows you to refine your extension and create a seamless instrumental section.

Our Goal: Creating a Longer, Instrumental Piece

In our example, we're working with a song that has a similar structure to "We'll Try This One", but with different music and lyrics. Our goal is to extend the song from 29 seconds to create a longer, instrumental piece, removing the extra lyrics and maintaining the Jazz style.

The Initial Attempt

Our first attempt at extending the song results in a 17-second instrumental section. While this is a good start, our goal is to create a longer, seamless instrumental section to serve as the conclusion of the song.

The Plan

To achieve our goal, we'll add the extended instrumental section to the end of the song, replacing the original lyrics and creating a new, extended version. The song will end with an instrumental section, using the extended music and a final "We'll End with We Dr" (or similar) to conclude the song.

Together: A Three-Part Song

In a separate example, we have the song "Together", presented in three parts: Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3. A thumbs up is given to the song, with an optional suggestion to make it public. The full song can be shared and made public in "Soonoo" if desired.

To access the full song, simply click the three dots to retrieve the entire song. Parts 1, 2, and 3 are combined to create the full song, which is now available. The full song is played, starting with the lyrics "Liston wake up sunshine it's a brand new day Friday's here it's time to play the weekend's call and let's make some noise gather all..." and ends with a musical note [Music] and an arrow pointing to the end of the song.

Downloading the Song "Simply"

If you want to download the song "Simply", click on the three dots to access the download options. You can choose to download the song as an audio file or a video. If you select the video option, you'll be shown a preview of what the video looks like, featuring nice artwork, the title of the song, the type of music (Jazz), and the lyrics.

Pressing play will display the song lyrics in a larger text format, with a nice visual display. You can also download the song as an audio file or create your own visuals for the song.
